Mitchell J. Ross M.D.

Board Certified Dermatologist

Board Certified Dermatologist Dr. Mitchell Ross serves as Medical Director of Greenwich Medical Skincare and Laser Spa. He earned a Bachelors of Science from Harvard University and graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his medical internship at Carney Hospital and his Dermatology Residency at Columbia University Physicians and Surgery Hospital and Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital where he trained with several of the world's leading physicians and surgeons. Catherine Curtin, FNP-C, MS, RN-BC, BSN, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner

Catherine started nursing at New York University Medical Center, and has continuously grown her knowledge base throughout her career. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Salisbury University in Maryland then graduated from Pace University’s accelerated BSN program in one year. While working at NYU Hospital, and later Memorial Sloan Kettering, she returned to Pace University where she earned a Masters FNP degree in 1998. In 2005, after years in the Hospital setting, caring for Transplant patients as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Catherine realized that health, wellness, and Aesthetic medicine were her passions, and enrolled in classes in neuro toxins and dermal fillers and began the transition to the field of Aesthetics.   Read More

Amanda N. Pucci

Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, AGPCNP-BC, MS, RN-BC, BSN, CCRN

Born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, Nurse Practitioner Amanda Pucci was the first person in her extensive Italian family to attend college and earn a Bachelors and Master’s degree. After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Villanova University, she moved to NYC and started her career in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at New York University Langone Medical Center. Shortly afterwards, she obtained board certifications in both Critical Care Nursing and Cardiac-Vascular Nursing.  Read More

Shilpa R. Desai, R.T., M.S., RPA-C

Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant Shilpa Desai continued her family’s long tradition in medicine, earning Bachelor's degrees in Respiratory Therapy and Applied Science, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Mercy College. After many years working as a pharmaceutical rep and as a PA in areas including radiology, general neurology, hematology, oncology, vascular surgery and emergency medicine, as well as respiratory therapy, she left mainstream medicine for medical aesthetic industry, in part due to an experience with a patient. Shilpa’s patient struggled to find a new job and suspected age bias, so she opted for BOTOX and dermal filler injections, which helped her regain a more youthful appearance and gave her confidence a boost. Within a week, the patient was hired in the career she desired, which left Shilpa with the understanding that there were many ways to help people change their lives, something she enjoys being part of at The Greenwich Medical Skincare and Laser Spa where clients needs always come first.  Read More

Ellen Tartaglione, LE

Licensed Medical Aesthetician

Ellen Tartaglione is a clinical licensed aesthetician who has worked in the esthetic industry for over the last 15 years as a medical esthetician. She has been employed by The Greenwich Medical Skincare & Laser Spa since January 2007.

Ellen received her esthetic degree from Atelier Esthetique Institute, a highly regarded skin care educational facility in New York City, and her Post Graduate Degree from the Dermal Institute. Ellen incorporates a holistic approach to skin care promoting healthy habits as well as proper home care and professional treatments. Motivated by seeing her own skin improvements over the last decade, Ellen is a fierce advocate of proper home skin care and professional treatments.  Read More

Susana Boling, LE

Medical Aesthetician

Before her career in the medical skincare industry, Susana Boling spend two decades in the shipping and import-export business for the likes of Fortune 500 companies. While her trajectory seemed direct, from growing up in Lima, Peru to earning a Bachelor's Degree International Business, Susana eventually heeded the calling of aesthetics. Perhaps beauty was in her blood since her grandaunt won the title of the first Miss Peru in 1952.  Read More

Oksana Kulinska

Spa Coordinator

At age 9, Oksana Kulinska left her native Ukraine to join her parents in the United States. Her efforts to adapt to her new home and culture played an important role in her future choice of profession. Initially teased for not fitting in, Oksana developed a love for taking care of herself from the inside out and began to learn at an early age about how external and environmental factors affect the aging process. After earning a Bachelor of Science from Southern Connecticut State University where she majored in Communications and minored in Wellness, Oksana left the retail industry for the cosmetic medical field.  Read More

Spa Coordinator

Born and raised in nearby Norwalk, Conn., Spa Coordinator Melissa Mapp is a Brien McMahon High School grad. At a young age, she discovered that she delighted in helping others, which led her to the field of retail management before joining The Greenwich Medical Skincare and Laser Spa. In addition to enjoying the happiness and excitement on clients’ faces after a treatment like her favorite, the body-contouring CoolSculpting, Melissa appreciates the medspa’s positive environment that promotes self–confidence and assurance.  Read More

Chista Casal

Manager

Management guru Chista Casal has been with The Greenwich Medical Skincare and Laser Spa since it opened. Having earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, she has been working in management for more than 20 years. At Greenwich medspa, Chista is proud to work with an excellent group of practitioners and dedicated staff. She enjoys not only the attention to detail, but also the opportunity to provide excellent customer service and interact with patients because she knows that everyone feels positive and happier when they like the way they look. To that end, her preferred treatments are Botox and Ultherapy since both provide noticeable results despite being simple procedures to have.  Read More

Sofia Guerrero

Medical Assistant, Esthetician

Medical Assistant Sofia Guerrero hails from Ecuador and has been in the Connecticut area since high school. Clear from an early age that helping people look their best was her calling, she went from childhood days spent playing “beauty salon” with her sister to the Brio Academy of Cosmetics for certification in esthetics. Ahisa Obregon

Medical Assistant

Despite earning a degree in Interior Design and working successfully as a design assistant, Ahisa Obregon knew that her heart lay in skincare. She left the world of interiors and attended New York School of Esthetics, earning her aesthetician license and working at the European Wax Center in NYC before becoming part of the staff at The Greenwich Medical Skincare and Laser Spa. At Greenwich, Ahisa enjoys the fact that her education continues every day as she learns from her experienced coworkers. Marria Pooya

Managing Partner

The eldest of 85 cousins, The Greenwich Medical Skincare and Laser Spa Managing Partner Marria Pooya leads by example, in both her personal and professional life. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, she relocated to Long Island as a child and was the first in her community to attend college. After graduating from NYU’s Stern School of Business with a dual degree in Finance and International Business, Marria worked as a High Yield Analyst on Wall Street covering beauty and consumer products companies before joining a startup that created color cosmetics lines for international and teen markets. Her interest in the beauty industry continued, and when she was ready to return to work after having children, she knew she wanted to choose a profession that would truly allow her to make a difference.  Read More
