Jacquelyn Sirgant

Nurse Practitioner, MSN, FNP-BC
After growing up in Cornwall on Hudson, New York, Jacquelyn Sirgant earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from SUNY Orange and took her NYS boards to become a Registered Nurse. But she did not stop there. Her early education was followed by graduating with honors from Dominican College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then a Master of Science in Nursing. She worked as Cardiothoracic ICU RN, in Level I Trauma ER, and in an outpatient cardiology office. Jacquelyn holds many certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). She is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) Board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Jacquelyn was at GMS as a patient for skincare advice, and she was struck by the positive ambiance and genuine, caring staff. She decided that after years of taking care of people when they were sick, she wanted to change her career to give her the chance to take care of patients when they were well. She was able to do her FNP clinicals here at GMS and appreciated the willingness of the clinicians to help educate her and answer her many questions. Since studying for her FNP, Jacqueline has also become BOTOX and filler certified by Esthetic Skin Institute, and she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Nurses Assoc (ANA) and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. It might seem like she does not have any time for leisure activities, but Jacquelyn enjoys traveling to beachy locations, staying active with snowboarding and hiking, and most importantly, spending time with her young son.
