Koral Ben-Simon

Koral Ben-Simon

Greenwich Med Spa

Nurse Practitioner

Greenwich Medical Spa is pleased to welcome Nurse Practitioner Koral Ben-Simon, RN, APRN, EMT-B, to our Greenwich and Westport locations. Koral earned a BSN from Binghamton University and an MSN from Emory University, then worked in the outpatient endocrinology setting for 2.5 years before moving into the aesthetics field. Before joining the GMS family, she spent a year with a national aesthetics brand, performing laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, CoolTone, Ultherapy and injectables.

Koral’s interest in aesthetics resulted from her personal insecurity with her appearance growing up and the realization that investing in herself on the outside allowed her to be more comfortable and confident on the inside. Some of her go-to transformative treatments for patients and herself include BOTOX, The Eraser and dermal fillers. It was professional exposure to the medical aesthetics field while earning her master’s degree that confirmed her desire to work in the industry, where she focuses on connecting with each patient to understand their goals and build a trusting relationship. Koral loves visiting her extended family in Israel and is involved in a wellness community with people from around the country, but she hails from Westchester, NY, and now that she has returned to the area, looks forward to volunteering at a local animal shelter.

  1. What is your educational Background
  2. I attended Binghamton University for my BSN and Emory University for my MSN.

  3. What relevant certifications do you have?
  4. RN, APRN, EMT-B

  5. Did you have any other type of career before working in the medical spa business?
  6. I worked in the outpatient endocrinology setting for 2.5 years before moving into the aesthetic field.

  7. Previous experience in the medical aesthetic industry:
  8. I worked at Ideal Image for one year where I performed laser hair removal, coolsculpt/ cooltone, ultherapy, and injectables.

  9. When and how did you know that helping people look their best was your calling?
  10. Early on, I found an interest in aesthetics as a result of my personal insecurity with my appearance growing up. Once I invested in myself and felt comfortable in my own skin, I became more confident in the way I carried myself. Having exposure to this field while earning my master’s degree confirmed my passion and I am excited to have the opportunity to continue helping people look and feel their best!

  11. What do you like most about working at Greenwich Medical Spa?
  12. I am extremely excited to begin working at Greenwich Medical Spa! Everyone that I have been introduced to so far has been so welcoming and kind. I am looking forward to being part of such a caring and passionate team!

  13. What is your favorite treatment (to get/give/see people get) at Greenwich Medical Spa and why?
  14. My favorite treatment to perform at GMS is Botox. I love that Botox can be used as both a preventative and corrective treatment and love the smooth yet natural appearance that patients are left with. The Eraser is my favorite treatment to get. It helps to even out the texture of my skin and improve the appearance. My favorite treatment to see patients get is filler. I love to see the look on a patient’s face when they see their immediate transformation!

  15. To you, what is the most important aspect of patient care?
  16. To me, the most important aspect of patient care is connecting with the patient and understanding their goals. Building a trusting relationship with each patient is the foundation of patient care; everything else falls into place after that!

  17. What is the best compliment a patient has given you?
  18. The best compliment I’ve received was being told that I was the best provider they had ever seen.

  19. What do you do when you have time off?
  20. I absolutely love traveling and have so many favorites! My top choice would be Israel, which I hold near and dear to my heart given my extended family lives there. I also loved traveling to Amsterdam and Paris.
