Registered Nurse

Maria is from Stamford, CT and grew up in the Cove area. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician. Certifications include Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, and Bamboo Massage. Maria is currently working on her Med/Surg Certification.

Maria worked at a day spa for 15 years as a spa coordinator while obtaining her degrees, then as an esthetician and massage therapist. She also worked in home care and as a nurse. For Maria, the most important aspect of patient care is empathy. She believes it is important to understand how each patient feels in order to understand and respond to each of their concerns.

When not working, Maria loves to spend time with her family and friends and travel. Some of her favorite places are Nantucket, Vermont, and Maine.

What do you like most about working at Greenwich Medical Spa?
What I like the most about working at Greenwich Medical Spa is how everyone works together to make every patient that walks in feel welcome. Everyone has such great energy and it is seen and felt by the patients.

What is your favorite treatment to give (or get!) at Greenwich Medical Spa and why?
I can’t wait to try the different facials!

What are a couple of things people would be surprised to learn about you?
A lot of people I meet are surprised to learn I play the bass guitar.
