Does The Activator hurt, and is there any downtime?
Prior to treatment, you will be offered ibprofen or pronox, which will relieve any sense of discomfort. There is no downtime following an Activator treatment, and any pain can be easily managed with Ibuprofen. You may experience some mild swelling of the forehead for a day or two following treatment. This is normal and will subside within 48 hours. Until the swelling is gone, you should avoid vigorous activity, but you can wash your hair normally immediately following treatment.
How many Activator treatments will I need?
