Slim Shot for Weight Loss

Based on your assessment, we will provide your semaglutide prescription and thoroughly train you on sterile injection techniques, so you can administer your weekly injections in the comfort of your own home.

Each week, you will perform your Slim Shot semaglutide injection on the same day at home.

Once a month, we’ll schedule a check-in appointment with you at one of our GMS locations in CT, NY or virtually (if you’re not near a location that offers in-person Slim Shot visits) to ensure that you’re thriving and feeling amazing. During these visits, we’ll have the opportunity to assess your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your dosage. We’ll also closely monitor your weight loss journey to celebrate your achievements and keep you on track.

In the body, semaglutide imitates GLP-1 (Glucagon-like peptide-1), which is a natural substance produced when you eat that stops you from feeling hungry, instead creating feelings of fullness. Because a semaglutide reduces feelings of hunger, it will usually cause you to eat less. When combined with a healthy diet and exercise, a semaglutide may help you lose weight.
