Pre And Post-Care Treatment Instructions for Optimal Results
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS:
✔ Pregnant or breastfeeding women
✔ Those with autoimmune disease
✔ Those with active disease states, a hemorrhagic disorder, or are on anticoagulant treatments
PRE-TREATMENT PREP
✔ A history of herpes or cold sores will require a course of antiviral medication before and after your treatment. Please let your treatment provider know so we can prescribe your medication.
✔ Do not have any vaccines for a minimum of 2 weeks before or after your treatment.
2 weeks prior to treatment:
✔ Prep skin with Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar.
24 hours prior to treatment & arriving for your treatment:
✔ Discontinue the use of skincare containing tretinoin, retinoids, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA), beta-hydroxy acids (BHA), benzoyl peroxide, or any exfoliating agents.
✔ Please arrive on time for your appointment to numb 1 hour prior to your treatment
POST-TREATMENT CARE
What to expect:
✔ Since exosomes are being used as an add-on to the treatment service, please refer to your treatment service for full list of post-care instructions/expectations.
✔ Exosomes will be placed on the skin during your in-office treatment and may be given to you for at-home topical application.
What to do:
✔ Avoid touching the treated area within 4 hours of your treatment, after which the treatment area can be gently washed with a gentle cleanser and water.
✔ If Exosomes are given to you for at-home application, it can be applied on the clean treatment area every hour for up to 24 hours.
✔ Avoid exercise for 24 hours, unless noted in your treatment service post-care instructions.
POST-SKINCARE REGIMEN
1. Cleanse: Use a gentle, soap-free cleanser. We recommend Greenwich Skinlabs Calming Rosa Foaming Cleanser, which helps to reduce the appearance of redness due to evodiox ginger root.
2. Stimulate collagen: Apply a daily corrective cream on the face and neck every morning and evening. We recommend applying SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ serum every morning and evening to stimulate collagen reproduction as well as Alastin Restorative Neck Complex or Skinmedica Neck Correct to the neck and decollete area.
• Bonus: Adding on a retinol to increase cell turnover and boost overall results! Use only at night and 3-5 Days After Treatment
3. Protect: Apply an Intensive Antioxidant Serum every other evening all over the face and neck. We recommend Greenwich Skin Labs Intensive Antioxidant Serum, which helps enhance your skin’s protection against environmental damage, improving signs of aging, reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and promoting a firm and bright complexion. This antioxidant serum will help you achieve healthier, more radiant skin. This does not take the place of your SPF.
4. Moisturize: Apply a moisturizer in the morning and evening. We recommend Greenwich Skinlabs Hydraglow +, which helps to replenish and enhance the skin barrier post procedure.
5. Protect: Apply a broad-spectrum physical SPF of 30 or above in the morning and reapply throughout the day. We recommend Greenwich Skinlabs Reflect Riche which blocks both UVA and UVB rays.
Fun Fact: UVA rays are responsible for aging. Chemical sunscreens do not block against UVA rays. So while you may not be getting burned due to chemical sunscreen blocking UVB, you are still aging yourself. This is why it is important to use a physical/mineral sunscreen daily!
